1992 Master degree of arts
1989-1990 Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beux-Arts, prof.Gino Silvestri and Universite de Paris I-Pantheon Sorbonne, Art plastique, Paris, France;
1980-1986 Student at the Painting Departement of the Latvian Art Academy. Graduated from the Professor Imants Vecozols’ Studio;
1973-1980 Attends Jānis Rozentāls Riga Secondary Art School;
EXPERIENCE IN ART PEDAGOGICS
Since 2007 vice-rector of Latvian Art Academy
Since 2006 head of the departement of visual arts at the Latvian Art Academy;
Since 1999 head of the Painting departement at the Latvian Art Academy;
member of the senate at the Latvian Art Academy;
Since 1997 head of the Figural Painting Studio at the Latvian Art Academy;
Since 1994 Professor of Latvian Art Academy;
1992-1994 Docent of Latvian Art Academy;
Since 1986 lector of Latvian Art Academy;
